An installation-diary that recounts a shipwreck with no return. Armrests, ballasts, a brightly coloured inflatable pool: objects that should save, but here become witnesses of an ongoing drift. Signs of an illusory buoyancy, an attempt at resistance that does not lead to the shore.
Un’installazione-diario di bordo che racconta un naufragio senza ritorno. Braccioli, zavorre, una piscina gonfiabile dai colori vivaci: oggetti che dovrebbero salvare, ma che qui si trasformano in testimoni di una deriva ancora in corso. Segni di un galleggiamento illusorio, di un tentativo di resistenza che non porta a riva.

It is the reaction to a daring intrusion of life, the process of which is still open.
Life turns your plans upside down, and you want to ignore the problem. Practical sense comes to the rescue, you look for a solution to take cover. You feel helpless when you can’t find the key: how do you reverse the pattern?
Frustration rings in your ears, maybe the key doesn’t exist. You’ve been run over and you’re still on the ground.
In a fit of rage, you arm yourself: you want to break down the door that is blocking your way. The knife turns out to be a rash move, the purpose dies. The doors open with the keys in hand, but you have to give yourself time.
É la reazione a una rocambolesca intrusione della vita, il cui processo di risoluzione è tutt’ora aperto. La vita stravolge i tuoi piani e si fa strada la voglia di ignorare il problema. Arriva in soccorso il senso pratico, cerchi una soluzione per metterti ai ripari.
Ti senti impotente quando non trovi la chiave: come si fa a rovesciare lo schema?
La frustrazione rimbomba nelle orecchie, forse la chiave non esiste. Ti hanno investita e tu sei ancora a terra.
In un impeto di rabbia, ti armi: vuoi buttare giù la porta che sta sbarrando la strada.
Il coltello si rivela una mossa avventata, il proposito muore. Le porte si aprono con le chiavi in mano, bisogna darsi tempo.

In the italian healthcare system, money makes all the difference.
For years, politicians have been dismantling health service in favor of the private sector, and waiting lists are getting longer and longer.
I am a lucky patient at a high price: I can choose when physical pain is unbearable or buy the necessary supplements when health service does not cover their cost. If you can’t wait, everything is at your service, at prices that are anything but democratic.
I recognize my privilege, because those who struggle to make ends meet have to wait in fear and pain, hoping that the delay will not aggravate their condition.
Healthcare service MUST remain public and accessible to all to avoid natural selection. State discriminates on the bodies of the sick.
Nel sistema sanitario italiano soldi fanno la differenza.
Da anni la politica smantella la Sanità in favore del privato, e le liste di attesa si allungano sempre di più.
Io sono una malata fortunata a caro prezzo: posso scegliere quando il dolore fisico mi scuote o acquistare gli integratori necessari anche se la mutua non copre il loro costo. Se non puoi aspettare, tutto è al tuo servizio, a prezzi tutt’altro che democratici.
Riconosco il mio privilegio, perché chi fa fatica ad arrivare a fine mese deve aspettare nella paura e nel dolore sperando che l’attesa non aggravi la sua condizione.
Il servizio sanitario DEVE rimanere pubblico e accessibile a tuttǝ per evitare una selezione naturale. Lo Stato discrimina sui corpi dei malati.
