“It’s an automatism: as soon as the eyes burn, a bulkhead rises at the pupils and, like a river in front of a dam, the tears recede and an unsatisfied desire to cry remains.”

A gesture that was once natural, now only possible through the artifice of eye drops. The paradox is highlighted by the choice to accompany the action with the audio of an excessive, theatrical cry. Trauma prevents the natural process of negative emotions and the result is a dysfunctional and dramatic block. After the hatred encountered, there is no more crying.

“E’ un automatismo: appena bruciano gli occhi si alza una paratia in corrispondenza delle pupille e, come un fiume davanti a una diga, le lacrime si ritirano e rimane una voglia di piangere insoddisfatta.”

Un gesto una volta naturale, ora possibile solo mediante l’artificio del collirio. Il paradosso è evidenziato dalla scelta di accompagnare l’azione dall’audio di un pianto teatrale, eccessivo.
Il trauma impedisce il naturale processo delle emozioni negative, il risultato è un blocco disfunzionale quanto drammatico.
Dopo l’odio incontrato, non si piange più.
